” … Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us.” Romans 8:34 (ESV)
Ever notice how little kids make up their own phrases?
Hi, I’m Laura Lacey Johnson.
When my daughter, Elle, was little, she would often make up her own expressions. But as her mom, I always knew what she meant.
For example, she might say, the sun is “brightening my eyes” and she meant the sun was shining bright in her eyes.
Or she might say the food is “spicing my tongue” to mean her food was too spicy.
In the same way, God knows what mean, even when we can’t find the words.
Romans 8 says Jesus Christ is at the right hand of God and intercedes for us.
Even when you don’t know what words to use, your Heavenly Father understands the cry of your heart. So, why not voice a prayer to Him today?
