Motivational Minute – Wings Like Eagles

but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31 (ESV)

Hi, I’m Laura Lacey Johnson.

Here in Missouri, where I live, we have eagle watching events. People love going because eagles are fascinating. As masters of the wind, they don’t flap their wings. They glide – trusting the wind to lift them. Because they don’t rely on their own strength, distance is never a problem for them.

The same can be true for us when we rely on the Lord’s strength.

Isaiah 40:31 (ESV) says, “they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”

There is no limit to God’s power, and His strength is available for you. Ask Him to provide everything you need to live out His purpose for your life today.
